As an agronomist and phytopathologist, my period at UCLM was an extraordinary opportunity to interact with researchers and scholars from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds to learn from them and to expand my field of expertise and enhance my knowledge, especially, in environmental ecotoxicology and risk assessment for the soil, earthworms, and insect larvae through toxicity tests and biomarkers.

I had the opportunity to work with J.C.Sanchez Hernandez's research group for 4 months during the summer. The topic of my traineeship was about the ecological risk assesment of Hydrochar/Biochar for agriculture application. In that period I learned a lot about the specific protocols and techniques used to study the soil enzimes activities and biomarkers in earthworms with an incredible attention to the details and meaning of every type of test, but, most of all, I was sorrounded by great and patient researchers that taught me the importance of the accuracy and the hard work. I received answers for all my question, a reply for all my doubt. During my stay here I understood the meaning of "Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life"
